I’m in perimenopause, and I’ve been reading that it is important at this stage of life to lift heavy weights and build muscle to stave off bone and muscle loss from aging and hormone decreases. It’s also recommended to eat high protein to support your body to build muscle, but it can be really hard to achieve the recommended amounts at breakfast, particularly because I don’t eat dairy. This protein powder lets me easily cram 40g of protein into a smoothie, and it tastes great! The vanilla flavor is mild and creamy, and the sweetener doesn’t have that artificial taste to it. The ingredients are great - it’s a fairly simple list of things I can easily recognize. No dairy and no soy for those who have trouble with them. High protein plant based powders are few and far between, so I’m really pleased to have this option available on iHerb.

I LOVE every Orgain protein powder I've tried from the regular line but this Sport version was a disappointment. It's thick and has a strong pea after-taste so I can't shake it and go like the other I can only drink this one blended with other ingredients like frozen fruits or peanut butter to mask the flavour.
