Bought this after reading all the good reviews. I was skeptical at first because I was so tired of taking PPIs, but turns out these capsules work well. I took 2 capsules when I was having a stomach issue, and within 1 hour the complaints got better without having to take PPIs. I'm thinking of drinking it regularly. 😁
I have gastric and so sometimes will have this problem of having too much gastric juice while sleeping. I don't like to eat a lot before sleeping, so I usually eat 2 capsules just before bed. I think it helps to coat my stomach lining because at least I don't feel the discomfort when there's too much gastric juice.
I have severe GERD, I've spent days and days researching what I can do to help get it under control, after watching many videos on YouTube about slippery elm & the benefits with GERD I bought these, it's only been 2 days since I have started but so far I haven't had any acid reflux, normally I'd get it every single day. The ingredients are good it's literally just slippery elm bark, size of the pill is normal, easy to swallow. Packaging was great like always, never have any issues with packaging. Overall a great supplement so far!!! I take 2 in the morning and that's it, I always take slippery elm with marshmallow root. Hope this is helpful.
This capsule is very helpful to me in settling my stomach when certain foods or medicines cause it to be upset. I often have bad reactions to prescriptions, but this is mild and very effective in settling my stomach. It has done a lot to improve the quality of my life.
I’ve been taking this as one supplement for dry post Covid lungs and various lung or throat issues mostly but it also works quite well for constipation. Check out the benefits on reviews here and online, and it’s a really helpful herb, medicine cabinet staple to have around when you need it. They say it can interfere with other medicines so perhaps good to take on it’s own though it is in blends for lungs, which I also take. Now is a good all purpose brand and this one works for me.
Now's Slippery Elm is amazing. I have suffered from IBS for many many years and thanks to Now's Slippery Elm I immediately have relief from suffering with IBS (irritable bowl syndrome). The capsules are small and are easy to swallow and they helped from the first dose. I highly recommend this supplement to any one who has trouble with their digestive track, from the throat through to the end of the digestive track. Wonderful Stuff!
have been using slippery elm of NOW and natures way. both are good. am using it mainly as supplement for moods and stomach indigestion. now i believe our stomach and intestines actually will influence our moods, our brains, and immune system. so healthy guts are a must for good mood and health. the benefit is to calm the GI track to reduce negative mood and discomfort. overall good quality and ingredients.

Don’t choose another brand because it’s cheaper,this is gold standard. I used another brand now twice and while good it does not measure up to this one. This is a little tummy miracle and mild enough for kids to take as well (although I do put it in tea instead)
