At the first sign of sinus discomfort, I made a strong cup of lemon tea, add fresh sliced ginger and squeeze of lemon juice before stirring in a packet of this. Truly my go to "hot toddy" (alcohol free of course). I SWEAR by it. Taken at night, I wake up the next day feeling SO much better. While I can drink it when i am feeling under the weather and it does help, I find it is MUCH better used at the first sign of an issue, like a tickle in the throat, or very often for my sinuses, when there is a significant change in pressure or there are high winds. I always keep a packet with me, just in case. If i don't have my lemon and ginger handy I just stir it into hot water and it's fine. The package says you can mix it in cold water but I find it to be MUCH more therapeutic when sipped from my favorite mug while curled up with a blanket, if time allows.
