Excellent!I have been looking for this everywhere and I am so glad to have found it here! It is the original Monoi Tiare that smells like the tiare flower. It is very hydrating and keeps my skin moisturized and smelling so good. I use it on my body, hands and hair after and during exposure to the sun. The only issue I have with this is that it contains non-natural fragrance.
I love using body oils, during any season. I love this body oil because the scent is absolutely beautiful ~ Gardenia is on of my favorite scents. The oil is quickly absorbed into the skin, leaning it soft, supple and moisturized. I also use this product in my hair to de-frizz the ends, especially in the summer. It’s been great on my sensitive skin. The oil does thicken due to the coconut base, but I find that it melts very quickly when rubbed in my hands first.
I first discovered this scented oil in Hawaii and was so happy to find it here. It has a beautiful scent and is great as a moisturizer. It is made with coconut oil and thus does not irritate my skin. It is great for hair and skin and only a small amount is needed. And the scent takes me back to Hawaii. :) Love it!
Very fragranced and i like it that way.Moisturizing factor is very good as its composed of coconut oil.I use it as a pre poo and it works great Good ingredients composition.Good quality and size for me as i only use it 2x a week before shampoo.I think any age should be able to use it.All products i have ever bought form iherb have been thoughtfully packaged and delivered fast.I appreciate the attention given.Thank you Iherb
The scent is intoxicating! If you love the sweet scent of real gardenia flowers, this is for you! I have several gardenia shrubs and I can say this smells like a bouquet of them, fresh from my yard, or Tahiti, perhaps. It's great to use in the shower, right after you cleanse/exfoliate but before you dry off to seal in the moisture on your skin with wonderful fragrance. I have thick, long, wavy hair, and I also use this, especially in the summer, to nourish and scent my hair. I've bought this several times, get some today!
I bought a few scents of this and they're all nice - this and the ylang ylang are the most floral. The ingredients list includes "parfum" but I still think it smells natural. Synthetic scents give me a headache but this one doesn't at all. It does smell like gardenia. That said, I like warmer or spicy/vegetal scents more than floral so I'm giving this one to a friend.
I am so grateful I gave Monoi Tiare Tahiti a try! This is exactly what I've been looking for. I am probably obsessed with coconut oil as I do use it for almost every important aspect in my life. I got hooked on Coconut Oil since the day I enjoyed my friend's homemade Lavender Coconut Oil but was quite upset after finishing the bottle as I couldn't figure out how to get another one as we are distances away... until I heard all about Monoi Oil. To my surprise, I realized that this was exactly the right size I needed. As a Polynesian Dancer, I have become very dependent on using this Monoi essential oil to lather my body with right before stepping onto the stage. Monoi Tiare Oil provides not only an unbelievably beautiful and refreshing scent but also provides an incredible moisturizing nourishment to my skin that you do immediately notice. I am also very much impressed by the quality of this Monoi Oil immediately recognizing a real Tiare stem they provide in the bottle. A little of this on your body certainly goes a long way.
I'm not sure about scent because it is VERY floral and strong. It's not the best and most buttery form of gardenia. It's kiind of synthetic smelling and very strong. But i've worn it for a few days now and it wears ok on my skin over time after I put it on. And I'm going to get another bottle of maybe another scent because it really has made a difference in how must softer my skin is. It's made my skin softer than any other oil (reg coconut oil) or other lotion. I really like it!
I love the Tiare scent, while it is Gardenia, its very subtle, very nice, you can heat it up in window sill, but if works fine in a solid state, just squeeze some on arms ,legs, etc,it will melt into oil with body heat, and if you see something black, its NOT mildew, mold, etc, they put real herbs in every bottle, which you see when its in a liquid state, ive tried all the scents, they are all lovely!
I first got into this oil for hair and skin when I read an interview with a pro surfer who uses it to keep her hair healthy. In the summer, I’m in the ocean every day so the salt water can be a little damaging to my hair. I find that this keeps my hair from getting dry and crunchy and it smells so good that you want to use it as much as possible.
